I am a husband, an Executive Coach, and a Sales and Marketing Consultant. And, I’m extremely passionate about…all of the above!
In fact, I’m truly grateful to be one of fortunate few that absolutely LOVES my job. I love getting up and going to work…every day.
And, that’s exactly my mission: I want my consulting and coaching clients to love what they do as much as I love what I do. I want them to experience the same joy and passion that I do about work and life…every day.
Powerful Executive Coach
I work with successful, powerful Senior Executive Teams and those key Executives who are constantly searching for ways to go from Good to Great.
For Senior Teams, we achieve alignment, drive real change, remove siloed behaviors, and add a valuable dimension to our Leadership. We use the coaching experience such that each team member on the Executive team can become the very best version of himself/herself. Only then can the Senior Executive Team move forward and become the best version of itself.
For one-on-one clients and paraphrasing their feedback, we use our coaching for both work and in life to:
- “achieve better clarity on tough decisions I have to make,”
- “be intentional about and create focus on something I want…and don’t yet have,”
- “gain perspective around a frustrating problem,”
- “maintain my intestinal fortitude to stay the course during a time of massive change,”
- “be intentional about the legacy I will leave behind,”
- “flush out ideas and hone my messaging.”
Let’s face it, being a Senior Executive can be a lonely place. It’s not always appropriate to “think out loud” with employees, other leadership, the Board, or family members. My clients are C-level Executives, Vice Presidents, Owners, and Senior Leaders, who are DONE with the status quo and want to make that shift. They have the emotional intelligence needed to recognize that we all have things at work and in life that could be better.
And, they do something about it.

My Biography
I have a deep, technical background with Electrical Engineering degrees from both Purdue University (1992) and the University of Michigan (1994). What can I say? I love technology. I absolutely love it. I had a fantastic start to my career working as an Advanced Development R&D engineer for General Motors doing some of the preliminary development work on products we all use today like OnStar, XM Satellite Radio, and GPS navigation technologies. After GM, I spent several years working as a systems and sales engineer in the world of wireless mobile data. Then, I had the incredible good fortune to attend and complete my MBA from Yale University in 2000 with concentrations in Strategy, Leadership, and Marketing.
Coming out of the MBA experience, I knew I wanted to stay close to my first passion, technology, and continue to leverage and grow my strong technical foundation. So I sought out, and have been fortunate to meet, outstanding success in various sales, marketing, and leadership roles at technology companies such as Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems, and Mitel. You can read my professional bio here at LinkedIn. I am grateful to have worked with some extremely talented sales and marketing teams and leaders who helped me develop deep expertise and a second passion for growing companies.
I have been married to Justeen for over 25 years. We met at Purdue and moved to Atlanta after graduate school. We now live in south Florida. Justeen is completely amazing and makes me incredibly happy. She is also an executive coach (Justeen Oess). She is truly one of the most gifted people I know.
Finally, to know us is to know our two dogs, Guffi and Josie.
When I’m not working with my clients, I love golf and boating.
